More delicate minerals, such as hematite, pearls, turquoise, or malachite, can oxidize, change color, or lose their luster due to moisture or sweat.
• After each removal of jewelry, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth – this will remove sweat, dust, and cosmetic residues that could affect the appearance of the materials.
• Store jewelry separately, preferably in its original box or pouch, in a dry place, away from sunlight and sources of moisture. Storing many pieces together can lead to scratches, especially if the jewelry contains stones of different hardnesses.
